"I'm the only one that will be always by my side"

Her story did not begin too well. I met her a few years ago. She was born in a small town in northern Spain called Logroño, 26th January 1987 without knowing that she would change the lives of her parents. It was not one of the best starts but may have a good ending.

Her childhood was quiet in a way, like any other child, practicing rhythmic gymnastics and drawing. She was a top student at school and soon became one of the best at writing. She won two silver medals for the gymnastics team and played other sports like tennis or basketball. For two years she’d go to the conservatory to learn to play the guitar, which she never mastered. By the time school finished, she already knew she wanted to be a journalist and worked hard for it. She won national and regional awards for various publications. She also wrote in the high school newspaper, and her career as a journalist began. It was then when she discovered another passion to be, travelling. She has now been in several different countries and visited many cities, learning about different cultures and behaviors around the world.

Her personality began to consolidate and become stronger. This girl, once shy and unsure of herself began to have a passion for getting everything she wanted, and started fighting for her dreams. University gave her the opportunity to grow up and mature away from home, alone, in a vibrant city full of opportunities. Growing as a person and journalist at the same time. In her third year of University she began working on television and radio in her hometown. At first, she missed the writing but grew to love the new part of her job just as much, almost more. A new passion was born. A year later, she finished the degree and decided to go to Canada to improve her English. She would have no idea it would lead shortly afterwards to living in a small coastal town in South-England called Bournemouth, which changed her life. She only planned to come for a few months but in a few days will be spending her second Christmas away from home, but happier than ever.

That girl that one day I met, stubborn, with good sense of humor, realistic but dreamy, she, I’m her.
